Rochdale Foodbank Coronavirus Update

Important information for our donors, referral agencies and clients in these very worrying times

Rochdale Foodbank continues to sustain the service according to our established mission, whilst protecting the health and welfare of our volunteers and clients in these challenging times.

Clients with a voucher will continue to receive bags of food according to their need. The amount will be determined as before, by the number of adults and children it is to feed.

We welcome money donations – that enables us to buy in those foods in short supply.

Arrangements for delivery/collection:

We’ll be accepting donations at the new warehouse from Monday 8th November 2021. You can find us:

Rochdale Foodbank Warehouse
Newgate, (under the bridge)

Our sign will be on the door.

The opening times are
Monday to Friday, 10:00am – Midday
except Wednesday when we close at 11:30am

If you require parking do so at the entrance to the loading bay – stay with your vehicle, call 07847 463 483 – for assistance. If you have a large donations please call the above number in advance to arrange access to the loading bay.

Monday to Friday 11:00am – 12:30pm

Smallbridge Methodist Church Opening Hours:

Saturday morning 10:30am – 12:00pm

Tesco Collections:

We will continue to collect from the Tesco Store at Sudden, if you can, please donate there in the collection box inside the main entrance.

Volunteering:

We are now considering applications for volunteering. If you are interested please take a look at our Give Help section, read the details, then go to Contact Us, click on the ‘drop down’ menu and select ‘Volunteering’.

Please note; all foodbank volunteers must be 18 years of age or over.
